van wingerden christmas

On Saturday, December 22, we celebrated Christmas with Mommy's side of the family.  We had a fun night of opening gifts, eating lots of yummy snacks/appetizers/desserts, and playing with our VW cousins.  We are thankful for family close by...and even more thankful that we can celebrate Christ's birth together!

Here we are...ready for the gift exchange!

Spiderman came to visit at Oma's house...
...showing off his big muscles and everything!
So, of course, Tinkerbell had to make an appearance as well!
Brecken was teaching Aunt Lindsey all about money!  Too cute!
Then, after a clean up, play, & snack time, our uncles & aunts gave us our gifts!
Uncle Todd & Aunt Helen had my name, so I loved my Ken & Barbie wedding set (perfect with my new dream house!), Barbie clothes, Barbie closet, & Qwirkle game!
Uncle Todd & Aunt Helen had Brady's (a.k.a Spider-Man) name as well...
...& he loved his lego's, shaving kit, magnetic game, & Avengers action figure set!
Uncle Art & Aunt Kelly had Brecken's name...
...Brecken loved opening his gifts...
...all with a smile or his tongue hanging out.
He was so excited to get a wooden puzzle set & a chef costume...
...and...
...a serving kitchen table set!
He studied the box...
...& was so super excited about the kitchen table...& his puzzles...
...I mean, REALLY excited!!
This cute chef is ready to take your order!
What a wonderful night we had together as a family!  We are thankful for each other...as well as a cute Spider-Man, a beautiful Tinkerbell, & an adorable chef! :)

God has richly blessed us, and we are very grateful!
